This position involves coaching leaders on various people-related issues and encompasses the entire spectrum of HR partnership, including talent management, performance evaluation, and the development of retention strategies.

As a trusted advisor, the HRBP will empower leaders to take charge of challenges and make informed decisions that align with the organization's growth objectives while nurturing a positive and engaged workplace culture.

The HRBP will collaborate closely with HR Operations experts (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, etc.) to ensure that HR strategies are in sync with overall business objectives.



Responsibilities:
Establish a trusted advisory relationship with assigned business unit leaders by fostering strong, proactive, and collaborative interactions.

Partner with designated business units to gain a thorough understanding of their strategies, challenges, and the factors influencing employee satisfaction, success, and retention.

Utilize data-driven insights and analyses to develop solutions aimed at enhancing performance, retention, employee experience, and overall workplace culture.

Provide timely and effective coaching to business leaders, aiding in the cultivation of robust leadership skills.

Offer guidance and insights on business unit restructuring and workforce planning initiatives.

Lead succession planning and talent development efforts, identifying critical roles and preparing potential talent pipelines.

Deliver day-to-day performance management support to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) and manage complex employee relations issues.

Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching requirements; participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure their effectiveness.


Foster a culture of collaboration not only within assigned business units but also across HR Operations functions (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, etc.).



Champion the effective execution of company-wide HR strategies and programs while representing the voice of the business unit.

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of legal requirements related to daily employee management, minimizing legal risks and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies.

Qualifications:
This role necessitates experience in an engineering services firm, consulting agency, or another professional services organization with a focus on utilization targets and billable hours.

A minimum of 7 years of HR experience in a business partner role, driving HR initiatives and programs that align with business goals.

Proficient understanding of various human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational assessment, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and relevant employment laws.

A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

PHR, SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification or the ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
