Position Title: Accountant

Location: Remote

Duration: 06+ months with potential for extension

Compensation: $25.00/hr W2 - $27.00/hr W2

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and accounting principles. This role involves:

  • Overseeing and analyzing product and project costs within the ERP system.
  • Supporting the maintenance and evaluation of Estimates at Completion (EAC) while ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Assisting in compliance with the new revenue recognition standard ASC 606.
  • Collaborating with team members to assess variances in manufacturing, sales, and general cost centers, and recommending efficiency improvements.
  • Contributing to monthly and quarterly financial closings, reporting, and analysis.
  • Providing support to the accounting team as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Baan/LN software.
