Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst provides support functions essential to North American salesforce productivity. These include sales planning, sales reporting, sales forecasting, quota setting and management, sales process design and optimization, and sales compensation design and administration. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Financial Planning & Analysis, this position works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the Sales organization.


Essential Job Functions

  • Design and implement improvements to existing Sales forecasting process.
  • Analyze Sales performance with reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Run statistical models and identify trends for Sales Management.
  • Work with Sales and Finance leadership to determine annual Sales budget.
  • Design and implement an annual Sales compensation plan; track results, and collaborate with HR/Payroll.
  • Refine customer segmentation; assist with territory management; and help create a plan to enhance upsell, cross-sell, and renewal processes.
  • Support the Sales team with process improvement, measurement, tracking, and analytics relevant to their Sales or Sales Management positions.
  • Manage and maintain sales process adherence with Sales Representatives and Sales Management.
  • Own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business; define and deliver techniques to improve the funnel performance for Sales management.
  • Refine customer segmentation, assist with territory management, and create a plan to enhance renewal and upsell processes.
  • Maintain regular check-ins with Sales Managers and others who contribute to opportunity development to determine how sales opportunities are tracking against plan and identify any problems for internal review and problem solving.
  • Create content for executive presentations.
  • Assist with on-boarding new sales talent.
  • Partner to US sales, marketing, customer service, and contracting organizations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on their expenses.
  • Manage monthly global flash reporting process, including commentary on performance drivers and variances to budget.




Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, MBA preferred.
  • 4+ years plus of finance or sales operations experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (data filters, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data connections, macros, etc.).
  • Experience creating and implementing successful sales process and methodology.
  • Experience creating forecasting, quota, and compensation management tools.
  • Experience creating reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Adept at project management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Intellectual curiosity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use any Business Intelligence tool is a plus.

Must possess the ability to meet designated deadlines and have excellent project management skills. Must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk. The duties also involve active listening, grasping, and reaching, as well as occasional lifting and carrying of products and supplies up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, the ability to adjust focus, and color code.

Mental Requirements

This position requires the ability to: maintain an appropriate work pace; comprehend and lead strategic or tactical efforts; exercise logic and reasoning; organize, prioritize, and strategize; read; compose written communication; communicate verbally; problem solves; make decisions; count and compute; analyze and interpret data; multi-task/re-direct; experience numerous interruptions; ability to focus in an open-office environment and work alone successfully. This position requires the ability to maintain the highest standards of professional maturity, patience, and emotional intelligence in difficult or stressful situations.

Other Requirements

Infrequent travel is required to other Safeguard Medical locations or events.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
