This industry-leading, reputable underground utility contractor, specializing in wet utilities - water, sewer, and storm drain seeks a Project Superintendent to join their dynamic team With a great employee appreciation package, they pride themselves on taking care of their employees and their customers as well. Their bonus structure is second to none A qualified person for this position will have 5+ years of construction experience in underground utilities – WWTP and the ability to build pump and lift stations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in Underground Construction in Waste Water Treatment
  • Proven experience in managing projects in the $5M- $15M range from cradle to grave
  • Experience in managing self-perform forces in wet underground utilities
  • Experience in all types of ground conditions, site conditions


Responsibilities

  • Ability to successfully manage l underground utility projects and/or multiple projects
  • Build strong relationships with clients/owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Ensure they will want to renew the construction experience with our client.
  • Maintain project cost control.
  • Maintain a 3 week look ahead schedule for the project.
  • Manage subcontractors and equipment/material vendors.
  • Attend subcontractor and owner coordination/progress meetings, change orders
  • Resolve major disputes with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Plus other unlisted field duties and assignments
