Job Summary

The Loan Quality Specialist position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of loan data in our core system. This role involves verifying the accuracy of commercial, mortgage, and consumer loan information, as well as performing daily file maintenance reviews to ensure compliance with documented policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform new and renewed loan post-booking reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of loan documentation.
  • Conduct daily file maintenance reviews, including note maintenance, participation maintenance, and CIF maintenance, to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with loan operations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure effective control processes.
  • Provide timely feedback on discrepancies and ensure corrections are completed.
  • Work with loan operations staff to ensure accurate and proper storage of source documentation.
  • Reconcile loan general ledger accounts for all banks on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Import QCRH loan quality documentation to support process and procedure improvements.
  • Contribute to team process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
  • Comply with all applicable company and regulatory policies, procedures, and requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two to three years of experience in loan operations or a similar field.
  • Knowledge of loan documentation and loan process procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, organize workflow, and execute multiple responsibilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
