Job Title: Loan Quality Specialist

Johnson Bank is seeking a highly skilled Loan Quality Specialist to join our team. As a Loan Quality Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that loans are documented accurately and in compliance with state and federal laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all loans are documented according to the approved credit presentation and in accordance with the Bank's loan policy.
  • Perform pre-closing and full file audits to ensure compliance with credit, regulatory, and collateral terms of the approval.
  • Review title reports, UCC searches, and other collateral perfections to ensure that the chain of title is satisfactory.
  • Work with lending documentation associates to provide detailed analysis of findings and action plans for required resolution.
  • Maintain knowledge of commercial and consumer loan documentation requirements and stay current on regulatory changes.
  • Conduct comprehensive and timely post-loan closing reviews to ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Record liens on collateral and ensure collateral is perfected per loan approval.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred.
  • Good understanding of commercial and consumer loan documents and lien requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Above-average computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to function as a team player and build strong relationships.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
