Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wheel Alignment Technician to join our service team at SpeeDee Ruston x. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle alignment issues, ensuring that all vehicles meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform wheel alignments on various types of vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair alignment issues, including adjusting vehicle suspension and steering components to manufacturer specifications.
  • Inspect and test drive vehicles to ensure proper alignment and identify any potential issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers about alignment issues and necessary repairs, providing clear explanations and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, including alignment data and customer interactions.
  • Ensure all alignment equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
  • Assist with other general automotive repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, including responsibilities as a lube tech.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest alignment techniques and technologies, participating in ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in automotive technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in wheel alignment or related automotive repair.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle suspension and steering systems, including alignment principles and practices.
  • Proficiency with alignment equipment and diagnostic tools, including ability to interpret technical manuals and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with ability to provide clear explanations and recommendations to customers.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual tasks, with valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, with commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
