Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Registered Dental Assistant to join our team at Kid's Corner. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients of all ages, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience in the dental chair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient examination and doctor support, taking impressions and x-rays as needed, charting and documenting all notes pertaining to the patient during the exam and treatment.
  • Anticipate the doctor's needs and be fully prepared, using creativity and imagination to ease and encourage anxious or timid patients.
  • Manage the day's schedule, keeping a smooth flow of patients and minimizing patient wait times, assisting in front office administration, gathering consent forms as required, and understanding patient insurance eligibility.
  • Promote dental health education to all patients, parents, and guardians, staying up to date on all compliance, safety, and licensure training and requirements.
  • Develop effective communication skills to interact positively with children and parents, possessing an applicable state certification and Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric dental assisting is preferred.

  • An alternative work schedule, Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 6 pm, with one Saturday a month.
