Job Summary

University Health seeks a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional patient care and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients and their families in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing or higher.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Texas.
  • Credentialed by the State to practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
  • AHA BLS or higher certification.
  • Valid DEA number.
  • Certification by a national nursing body.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years of nursing experience.
  • Two years of advanced practice experience.
