Job Summary

The Defense Health Agency Civilian Corps is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive and therapeutic health care services to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide independent and collaborative specialty care to patients, integrating the art and science of nursing into medical practice.
  • Assess and diagnose acute, non-acute, and chronic clinical and psychological conditions, and develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and conduct in-service education programs for other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop, review, and update policies, protocols, and standards of nursing practice.

Requirements:

  • Current, active, valid, and unrestricted license from a state, District of Columbia, or U.S. territory.
  • Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification by the American Heart Association.
  • Pass a Child Background investigation if assigned to a pediatric unit.
  • Pre-employment physical required.
