Responsibilities:
- Provide independent and collaborative specialty care to patients, integrating the art and science of nursing into medical practice.
- Assess and diagnose acute, non-acute, and chronic clinical and psychological conditions, and develop and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Develop and conduct in-service education programs for other healthcare professionals.
- Develop, review, and update policies, protocols, and standards of nursing practice.
Requirements:
- Current, active, valid, and unrestricted license from a state, District of Columbia, or U.S. territory.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification by the American Heart Association.
- Pass a Child Background investigation if assigned to a pediatric unit.
- Pre-employment physical required.
