Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is competitive and based on location, with an estimated range of $130,000 to $182,000 per year. As a valued member of our team, you will also be eligible for an annual performance bonus and enjoy comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays, and PTO accrual.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a seasoned civil engineer to lead our local team in Seattle. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, land development, transportation, and municipal civil engineering. Key responsibilities include:
- Building and leading a high-performing regional civil engineering team
- Collaborating closely with other design disciplines to deliver exceptional results
- Managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
- Negotiating contracts, overseeing quality control, and providing expert knowledge of codes and jurisdictional processes
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- An ABET-accredited degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of job-related experience, including leadership roles
- Licensed Professional Engineer status in the state of Washington
- Current NCEES license
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, and Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, ArchGIS, and Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams
- Strong technical writing skills
