Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer to lead our Civil & Structural Engineering Practice in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our team, you will drive the growth of our Architectural Engineering and Building Technology consulting efforts and contribute to the expansion of our practice.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff in architectural and structural engineering, failure analysis, and dispute resolution
- Develop and execute strategies to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities and promote Exponent through typical business contacts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects and services to clients

Your Skills and Qualifications

- Master's degree in Civil, Architectural, or Structural Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience
- Professional Engineering License (or ability to obtain within 12 months) in the State of Washington
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $220,000 - $320,000 per year. In addition to your base salary, you will be eligible for an annual bonus and 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary. We also offer comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
