IT Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Audit Manager to join our team at BGM Group. As an IT Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing audit engagements, ensuring the successful completion of assigned tasks, and providing guidance and oversight to junior auditors.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and wrap-up activities.
- Provide guidance and oversight to junior auditors, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks.
- Apply risk and control concepts to scenarios encountered during audits, identifying potential issues and communicating them to the A&A leadership team.
- Develop and implement audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives.
- Obtain and review evidence to ensure audit conclusions are well-documented and accurate.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable department and professional standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience performing SOC 1 & 2 audits.
- Experience in performing initial consulting to prepare for SOC 1 & 2 audits.
- Experience planning and leading SOC audit engagements.
- Current CPA or plans to complete in near future.
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience with accounting/audit software such as Caseware or similar.
- High level of organization, focus, exceptional attention to detail, and strong follow-up skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Willingness to take supervision and guidance.
- Team management skills – the ability to coach, motivate, and direct a team of people.
- Team player with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Creative problem-solving ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
