Job Title: Transportation Operations Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Transportation Operations Coordinator is a key member of the McLane Company Inc. team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation department. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the transportation team, including preparing delivery paperwork, pulling and putting away keys, and confirming driver routes.
  • DOT File Maintenance: Perform maintenance on DOT files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Payroll Processing: Process payroll for transportation team members, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects as assigned by the position supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of work experience in a similar function preferred.
  • Skills: Good computer skills, including Microsoft products, and strong organizational and communication skills.
