Analytical Development Research Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Development Research Assistant to join our team at Astrix Technology. As an integral member of the Analytical Development group, you will be responsible for performing GLP method validation and analytical assay support for early-stage research programs.
You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Early Research Process Development, Gene Therapy Research, and other internal and external partners to support nonclinical GLP studies.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Virology, or a related scientific discipline, with working experience in gene therapy and regulated environments (GLP/GMP) preferred.
Your expertise in cell culture, Western Blot, qPCR, and ddPCR is desirable, as well as strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
In this role, you will perform method validation and analytical testing to support the testing of AAV-based gene therapy products, work seamlessly with stakeholders, and ensure that scientific and technical challenges are resolved in a timely manner.
You will also assist in authoring and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical documents, protocols, methods, and reports, and maintain all appropriate laboratory records.
This is a contract position with a pay rate of $25-$30 per hour, offering benefits such as medical and dental insurance, weekly pay, 401k and PTO after six months, and a safe, efficient, and effective environment with personal accountability.
