  • Providing technical and engineering expertise to support the development and acquisition of hardware components
  • Participating in program management reviews and preparing and coordinating inputs for status reports, briefings, and information inquiries
Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical and engineering expertise to support the development and acquisition of hardware components
  • Collaborating with the Combat Systems Engineering and Integration team to identify and resolve complex systems engineering issues
  • Participating in program management reviews and preparing and coordinating inputs for status reports, briefings, and information inquiries
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical studies with a minimum of five years of U.S. Navy Surface Ship Combat Systems Engineering experience
  • Ten years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience in providing product development solutions and system prototyping on key military acquisition platforms to enhance warfighter capabilities on surface combatants ships
  • Experience in Agile Development Processes of combat systems assessments, certifications, risk reduction, interoperability, and test analysis
Clearance Requirements:

You must have a current and active Secret Security clearance.

Travel Requirement:

Local travel will be required up to 10%.
