Job Title: Swim Lesson Instructor PT

Washington City is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swim Lesson Instructor PT to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Swim Lesson Instructor PT will be responsible for providing high-quality swim instruction to individuals and groups, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instruct children and adults in swimming techniques and water safety.
  • Provide demonstrations and feedback to participants.
  • Recognize and correct errors in swimming techniques.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and friendly learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of swimming and water safety.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to be courteous to fellow employees and pool patrons.
Special Qualifications:
  • Must be willing and eligible to obtain facility instructor certification for swim lessons.
  • Must be 15 years old.
Work Environment:

The incumbent will perform in a typical pool setting with appropriate climate controls and typical settings associated with indoor/outdoor recreation.

Tasks require a variety of physical activities, including communicating, i.e., talking, hearing, and seeing, which is essential to job effectiveness.

Mental application utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, emotional stability, discriminating thinking, and creative problem solving.
