Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at The Recruiting Pros. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery, and meeting project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead multi-departmental project teams and provide technical support to Marketing, Production, and Aftermarket functions.
  • Work with CAD designers and internal personnel to develop new products that meet project objectives.
  • Manage projects in terms of product performance, safety, total product cost, and time period.
  • Create and maintain product Bill of Material while in development.
  • Maintain applicable drawings related to projects.
  • Prepare and maintain theoretical design calculations and supporting materials for products designed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Product Engineer in construction equipment product development.
  • 2 years of prior project management experience.
  • Familiarity with electric or diesel-driven compressors or generators.
  • Prior experience working with portable energy equipment is a plus.
  • Good command of 3-D CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
  • Proven track record of leading teams.
  • Other software skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) are required.
  • Committed to accuracy and detail.
  • Must have a proven track record of positive results.
  • Must be customer-oriented.
  • Good command of English is required; other languages are a plus.
