Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Urology Professor to join our team at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching, research, and clinical practice in the field of urology.

Responsibilities
  • Teach urology to medical students, residents, and allied health professionals
  • Conduct research in urology and andrology
  • Develop and implement undergraduate curricula in urology
  • Participate in continuing education programs for clinical faculty and practicing physicians
  • Provide a role model for students and residents as a teacher and practicing urologist
Qualifications
  • Alternate education path or board certification in urology
  • Able to be licensed in the State of Illinois
  • Successful completion of urology fellowship
  • Sensitive to the needs of underrepresented minority populations
