We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology to join our team at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, and contributing to the advancement of otolaryngology research.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical expertise in otolaryngology, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with ear, nose, and throat disorders.
- Teach and mentor medical students and residents in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, including supervision of clinical rotations and participation in curriculum development.
- Contribute to the advancement of otolaryngology research, including design, implementation, and publication of research studies.
- Participate in departmental and university service activities, including committee work and representation of the department at national and regional meetings.
- Graduate of an accredited medical school program.
- Successful completion of a Urology residency program.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Illinois or eligible for such licensure.
