We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Store Construction team at Capri Holdings Limited. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of store construction projects, from pre-construction to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Manage all department tracking reports, assist in preparation of presentations and department events, prepare and manage construction schedules, and review all schematic, design development, and final construction drawings to ensure cost-effective retail and outlet stores.
- Construction Coordination: Review and ensure Landlord tenant criteria and construction portions of the lease are thoroughly evaluated and communicated to internal and external business partners, prepare construction estimates, and manage all preconstruction activities, including obtaining permit information, ensuring utilities are available, and distributing project contact lists to vendors and contractors.
- Bid Management: Manage the bid phase, including reviewing and negotiating proposals, preparing general contractor bid leveling analysis, ensuring all required materials and resources are available and within budgetary guidelines, and ensuring all proposals are executed and returned to vendors.
- Project Cost Management: Track and maintain project costs-to-date through the approval of all invoices utilizing department project accounting tracking reports.
- Turnover and Handover: Manage the turnover activities to retail operations, ensuring a smooth transition of the store from construction to operational readiness.
- Relationship Management: Maintain excellent relationships with contractors, consultants, designers, and internal customers.
- Financial Closeout: Ensure all financial closeout documents are complete, correct, and timely.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in architecture or construction management.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a retail construction superintendent or within a store planning/design/construction environment involving an aggressive expansion of retail stores.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to provide value engineering direction during the design phase, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project, and ability to work independently with strong initiative on multiple projects simultaneously with aggressive timelines.
