They are in search of a Senior Propulsion Engineer to contribute to the advancement of essential systems for their spacecraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive trade studies, perform integrated analyses, and establish interfaces that influence design and integration.
  • Optimize spacecraft performance by identifying program risks and proposing effective mitigations.
  • Participate in or lead architectural studies, concept development, interface control document (ICD) creation, verification planning, vehicle integration, and operational support.
  • Take ownership of critical spacecraft propulsion hardware and systems, assuming significant responsibility for their integrity and performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Physics.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree in Engineering or Physics.
  • In-depth knowledge of spacecraft and/or launch vehicle propulsion systems and fluid components.
  • Proficiency in CAD software with a solid grasp of GD&T applications.
  • Professional experience with FEMAP, ANSYS, or comparable finite element analysis (FEA) tools.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing techniques and processes for metallic and fluid systems, including machining, electron beam welding, orbital tube welding, tube bending, and structural assembly.
  • Comprehensive understanding of aerospace materials, including metals, plastics, and composites.
  • Solid knowledge of testing methodologies and data acquisition systems.
  • A genuine passion for the aerospace industry, particularly in human spaceflight.
  • Highly self-driven with excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of prioritizing and executing tasks in a fast-paced environment while striving for continuous improvement.

Additional Information:

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for testing purposes.
