Job Summary

The Molding Department Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of our injection molding department, ensuring seamless production and maintaining high-quality standards.

This role is responsible for supervising employees, preparing work schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring productivity. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records within our Material Requirements Planning (MRP) System, inventory management, and labor tracking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of employees in the injection molding department
  • Prepare work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor productivity
  • Maintain accurate records within the MRP System, inventory management, and labor tracking
  • Ensure machine performance and output meet specifications
  • Approve and monitor Paid Time Off (PTO) for direct reports
  • Foster a safe working environment by enforcing compliance with safety guidelines
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 4 Years of experience in plastic injection molding
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to direct the work of others
