Job Title: Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Burlington Family Dentistry. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough dental cleanings and hygiene procedures to maintain patients' oral health.
  • Take x-rays and intraoral photos to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Schedule patients and manage their dental care needs.
  • Develop and present treatment plans to patients, ensuring they understand their dental health and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with our dentist to provide comprehensive care and make treatment recommendations.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones and managing patient records.
  • Stock supplies and maintain dental equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program.
  • Current state licensure to practice as a dental hygienist.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Proficiency in dental patient management software, such as Open Dental or Dentrix.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
