Job Title: Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Medical Solutions. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating room. This includes preparing patients for surgery, administering anesthesia, and monitoring patients during and after surgery. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for surgery by reviewing medical history, administering medications, and positioning patients for surgery
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during and after surgery
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa
  • 2+ years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care
