Job Title: Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team at Burlington Family Dentistry. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough dental cleanings and hygiene procedures to ensure patients' oral health and well-being.
  • Take x-rays and intraoral photos to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Schedule patients and manage their dental care needs.
  • Develop and present treatment plans to patients, ensuring they understand their dental health and recommended treatments.
  • Collaborate with our dentist to provide comprehensive care and make treatment recommendations.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones, calling labs, and following up with patients.
  • Stock supplies and maintain equipment to ensure a smooth and efficient dental care experience.
  • Accurately document patient health information and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program.
  • Current state licensure and CPR/BLS certification.
  • Proficiency in dental patient management software, such as Open Dental or Dentrix.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced dental environment.
