The Culinary Preparation Specialist will support the culinary team in the production and assembly of food items for various services, including kitchen preparation, cafeteria, banquets, dining room, and fine dining experiences.

Your Responsibilities:

- Develop knowledge and skills in diverse cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, frying).
- Gain hands-on experience with knives and various kitchen tools.
- Read and replicate recipes accurately.
- Maintain consistency in food preparation.
- Prepare cold dishes, salads, simple sides, and appetizers.
- Handle cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, and cutting meats.
- Assist in inventory management to ensure proper stock levels.

- Mix and prepare cold sauces, meat glazes, jellies, salad dressings, and stuffings.
- Learn to minimize food waste through effective cross-utilization.
- Collaborate with a world-class culinary team.
- Organize workstations with necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment.
- Ensure proper storage of food and other items.
- Take responsibility for the quality of ingredients used.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant is required.
- Familiarity with banquet preparation and service delivery.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong time management skills.
- Capacity to communicate effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
