Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at Aloft Newport on the Levee. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes to meet the expectations of our discerning guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items to order, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
  • Clean and sanitize all workstations, utensils, and equipment to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Interact with guests, vendors, and colleagues in a professional and positive manner
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies for peak periods
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and efficient operations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Previous experience in the food service industry preferred
