UCHealth is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Specialist to join our team in Ambulatory Care. As a Patient Access Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient access to our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet with patients and/or caregivers to exchange necessary information and documentation.
  • Provide explanation of visit, instructions, and address concerns and questions.
  • Communicate with referring providers, clinical departments, and other personnel to exchange necessary information and determine schedule.
  • Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-certification/authorization as necessary.
  • Determine and accept required payments, including co-pays and deductibles, or refer to financial counselors for follow-up.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of demographic, billing, and clinical information into the registration system.
