Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Press Setup and Operation: Set up and run high-quality prints on our gearless sleeve presses at optimum speeds without supervision.
  • Ink Management: Tone colors of solvent ink and maintain optimal ink viscosity.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assemble and adjust doctor blade chambers, and clean ink pumps.
  • Quality Control: Troubleshoot machine malfunctions or irregularities and address quality issues in cooperation with our Quality Control team.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and train press assistants in completing their responsibilities.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a high level of cleanliness to keep the machine operable and ensure the machine and work area are in good condition.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Skills: Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards, proficiency in reading and writing English, understanding and following safety procedures, knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance, ability to lead and train staff, and ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Experience: Press Operator experience preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Work Environment

Our production facility is a fast-paced environment with moderate to high demands for tight deadlines and may experience moderate interruptions in workflow due to product changeovers. The physical demands of this role include standing for extended periods, walking extended distances, lifting 75 pounds to shoulder height, and performing repetitive motions using wrists, hands, and fingers.
