Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a proficient Financial Operations Manager to supervise and direct the daily functions of our accounting division. The ideal candidate should be meticulous, analytical, and exhibit strong leadership capabilities.
  • Ensuring the precision and reliability of financial data, establishing and upholding internal controls, and leading a team of accounting experts. Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile multi-location, consolidated financial reports.
  • Guarantee adherence to accounting principles and regulations.
  • Month-End Close: Ensure accurate and prompt month-end and year-end closing activities for both the support center and operational sites.
  • Oversee and manage the daily functions of the shared services support center accounting division, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
  • Execute daily transactional accounting duties, encompassing payables.
  • ACH disbursements and payroll management.
  • Monitor cash flow and credit card balances.
  • Conduct variance analysis and financial performance assessments to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Identify avenues to enhance accounting procedures and boost efficiency. Implement best practices to improve accuracy and productivity.
  • Coordinate external audits and assist auditors in reviewing financial records. Qualifications:
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years of monthly transactional accounting and month-end closing experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
