- Compile multi-location, consolidated financial reports.
- Guarantee adherence to accounting principles and regulations.
- Month-End Close: Ensure accurate and prompt month-end and year-end closing activities for both the support center and operational sites.
- Oversee and manage the daily functions of the shared services support center accounting division, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
- Execute daily transactional accounting duties, encompassing payables.
- ACH disbursements and payroll management.
- Monitor cash flow and credit card balances.
- Conduct variance analysis and financial performance assessments to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Identify avenues to enhance accounting procedures and boost efficiency. Implement best practices to improve accuracy and productivity.
- Coordinate external audits and assist auditors in reviewing financial records. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA certification is preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years of monthly transactional accounting and month-end closing experience.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
