Dialysis Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at DaVita in New Orleans, LA. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing dialysis treatments.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct patient observations, measure vital signs, and set up dialysis machines.
- Work closely with Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to ensure seamless patient care.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
- Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) may be beneficial.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is a plus.
