About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at AEG. This vital role is not just about ensuring safety; it's about creating a secure and comfortable environment for everyone who enters our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security and Safety Protocols: Thorough knowledge of policies and procedures to ensure a secure environment.
  • Patrol and Monitoring: Patrol interior and exterior areas, checking for irregularities and monitoring CCTV cameras and other security systems.
  • Access Control: Lock and unlock areas as requested, control shipping and receiving of packages, and monitor and control employee and visitor access to the building.
  • Incident Response: Respond to incidents and complete reports as necessary.
  • Employee and Visitor Safety: Create a safe and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all security equipment through proper upkeep and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Two years of security experience.
  • Certifications: Clear criminal record check, first aid certification, and ability to pass written tests related to security policies and procedures.
  • Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, professional image and integrity, and ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods.
