- Oversee Compliance Training: Develop and implement compliance training programs to educate employees on compliance policies and procedures.
- Build Regulatory Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with regulated financial partners, regulatory authorities, and external auditors.
- Investigate Compliance Incidents: Investigate and respond to compliance incidents, allegations, and inquiries, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment of compliance efforts with business objectives.
- 7+ Years of Compliance Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in compliance leadership roles within the financial services industry, preferably in the fintech or banking sectors.
- Compliance Expertise: In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements applicable to fintech companies offering banking products, including BSA/AML.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with experience in developing and implementing compliance programs, and managing regulatory relationships.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with regulated financial partners, regulatory authorities, and external auditors.
