Assembly Operator Job Description

FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking an Assembly Operator to join our team in assembling high-tech components and packaging the final product for customer delivery.

The successful candidate will work as part of a larger team to perform a wide variety of tasks within the production line and warehouse setting, demonstrating critical thinking skills and expanding their career in smart manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manually pick and place small components onto specified areas.
  • Operate tools such as drills, mono-bolt guns, and wrenches during the assembly process.
  • Read electrical blueprints and install components such as relays, controls, and other types of controllers on electrical panels.
  • Receive parts kits from inventory and examine parts for defects.
  • Build and fulfill requirements needed, working closely with engineering, quality, and shipping departments to ensure product completion and timely shipment.
  • Move to various workstations and perform multiple tasks.
  • Follow policies and instructions related to quality work standards and production quality.
  • Promote safety and apply 5S principles, cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, taping, and organizing the work area.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; candidates with prior experience without the preferred education will be considered.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to read tape measure, work instructions, and other documents written in English.
  • Must follow safety protocols and wear PPE properly.
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours.
