Assembly Line Position

Overview:

Argus Technical Services is seeking a skilled Assembly Line Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Line Technician, you will be responsible for manually picking and placing small components onto specified areas, operating tools such as drills, mono-bolt guns, and wrenches, and reading electrical blueprints to install components.

Responsibilities:

  • Manually place components onto specified areas with precision and accuracy.
  • Operate various tools and equipment, including drills, mono-bolt guns, and wrenches, to assemble products.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints to install components such as relays, controls, and other types of controllers.
  • Receive and inspect parts kits from inventory for defects such as pinholes or chips.
  • Responsible for clean-up, bench organization, and tool inventory to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Carry materials and other large items of moderate to heavy weight as needed.
  • Must be willing to be flexible within your assigned area and perform a multitude of tasks as needed.
  • Follow policies and instructions that pertain to quality work standards and production quality.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with engineering, quality, and shipping departments to ensure product completion and timely shipment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED strongly preferred; candidates with prior experience without the preferred education will be considered.
  • Must be able to read tape measure, work instructions, and other documents.
  • Must follow safety protocols and wear PPE properly.
