Position Overview
This hybrid role requires in-office presence three days a week.
As a Senior Manager, Technology Solutions, you will report directly to the SVP of Technology at Publicis Groupe.
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the successful execution of intricate technology and platform initiatives, ensuring transformative outcomes for our clients.
You will be accountable for delivering exceptional results that align with client expectations while balancing both client and agency financial considerations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster collaboration and teamwork across diverse project teams.
- Comprehend the intricacies involved in managing technical projects.
- Effectively communicate strategies and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the industry.
Specific Duties Include:
- Lead multiple projects focused on client satisfaction and success within a matrixed structure.
- Build and maintain relationships with client IT, marketing, and internal technology teams.
- Implement a flexible project management approach, utilizing Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
- Accurately scope and estimate complex, multi-channel projects, ensuring precision in Statements of Work (SOW).
- Develop operational tools tailored to specific team or brand needs.
- Guide large teams in delivering technology-centric programs within established scope and budget.
- Demonstrate effective hiring practices and promote diversity and career growth within the team.
- Manage project financials, tracking budget utilization against project scope.
- Collaborate with project leads to produce realistic cost estimates and forecasts.
- Conduct project reviews to identify resource needs and manage allocations effectively.
- Seek opportunities to enhance processes for greater efficiency.
- Lead project status meetings and facilitate post-project evaluations.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Understand client business needs to tailor project plans accordingly.
- Guide challenging project discussions with clients and facilitate resolutions.
- Estimate project timelines and draft comprehensive scope documents.
- Remove obstacles to ensure smooth project progression.
- Drive adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across teams.
- Collaborate with team leads across various capabilities involved in project execution.
- Stay informed on emerging digital marketing technologies and best practices.
- Support new business initiatives and identify opportunities for upselling services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 10 years of experience in marketing technology or IT.
- At least 7 years of experience in leading complex technology projects.
- Minimum of 2 years delivering enterprise-level omni-channel marketing solutions.
- Deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- Expertise in marketing technologies, including websites, emails, and experience management platforms.
- Proficient in identifying project risks and communicating them effectively.
- Experience leading client meetings and presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with various project management methodologies, including Scrum and Waterfall.
- Proficient in standard business software and industry-specific tools.
- Demonstrated passion for the industry and commitment to client success.
- Agile certifications are a plus.
- Experience in a creative agency or pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
