Position Title: Program Management Analyst

Overview:

The Program Management Analyst will deliver essential technical assistance to the Program Manager, Functional Leads, and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads for a significant Department of Defense Weapons Accelerated Acquisition Program. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating closely with systems engineers and Program Managers to capture action plans and milestones for addressing technical challenges, while working with Master Planners to integrate these into the Program Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Supporting the Program Risk Manager in identifying, documenting, and monitoring Program risks along with their respective mitigation strategies, adhering to DoD Instruction series, SECNAVINST series, NAVAIRINST series, and the Program Risk Management Plan.
  • Utilizing databases and Microsoft Office tools to manage, maintain, and disseminate technical and programmatic information as directed by the Program Manager, IPT, Functional Leads, and Configuration/Data Managers.
  • Conducting analyses of information and providing recommendations backed by sound rationale.
  • Employing government-furnished data to create deliverables such as briefings, presentations, project reports, and illustrations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Program Analyst roles supporting Systems Engineering efforts within Naval Aviation.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Management; alternatively, four additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
  • At least two years of recent and relevant experience in Aviation Program Planning, focusing on Complex Budget Processes, System Acquisition, or Interdepartmental Procurement Requests.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • A highly motivated self-starter capable of multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment to meet various requirements.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Experience with NAVAIR Acquisition Programs and the NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review process.
  • Familiarity with the DoD Risk and Opportunity management process.

Security Clearance:

Must possess an active Top Secret clearance and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; U.S. citizenship is required.
