The Division Assistant Vice President of 340B Program Management is responsible for overseeing the registration and participation of all 340B Covered Entities in the 340B Program. This includes ensuring compliance with federal regulations, maximizing utilization of 340B pricing, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Manage annual HRSA recertification for all covered entities and register new sites as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on Section 340B rulings and related interpretations, assessing potential organizational impact and ensuring continuous compliance with federal regulations.
- Develop and update 340B policies and procedures in response to changes in rules, regulations, or guidelines.
- Provide training and education to staff and program participants on 340B Program compliance.
- Establish relationships with Finance and Information Services departments to monitor changes affecting 340B qualification.
- Ensure written agreements between covered entities and contract pharmacies comply with HRSA's Contract Pharmacy Services Guidelines.
- Oversee points of service related to 340B participation, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and patients qualify as covered patients.
- Oversee utilization and 340B purchasing records to ensure software and tools are functioning properly.
- Supervise 340B Coordinator/Analyst staff, including reviewing self-audits and establishing priorities.
- Develop quarterly and annual 340B participation reports and dashboards to document utilization, savings, exceptions, or discrepancies.
- Bachelor's of Science or Pharmacy Doctorate from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Knowledgeable and proficient in the legal responsibilities of the pharmacist to the facility and all state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services.
- Three years of acute care hospital, supervisory, or leadership experience.
- Three years of 340B management, oversight, or program exposure in an acute care hospital.
