INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Day Shift - 6am to 6pm - Overtime available - Rotating schedule

Compensation: $33-37 PER HOUR - Based on experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute all tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and perform preventative upkeep on machinery in designated areas, under the supervision of senior mechanics.
  • Maintain clear and accurate communication with fellow maintenance staff and supervisors.
  • Thoroughly complete all assigned work orders, ensuring detailed documentation of the tasks performed.
  • Handle Maintenance, Repair, and Operations documentation and data entry as required by maintenance activities.
  • Carry out technical maintenance duties under close guidance.
  • Provide necessary information to support accurate parts inventory management.
  • Collaborate with external contractors to accomplish projects and enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Must possess TECH III status - with over 7 years of experience, demonstrating a high level of expertise and capability – expected to mentor less experienced technicians – top earners are highly proficient in both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.

  • Preferred: Technical or Trade school degree, or a combination of a High School Diploma or G.E.D. with 2 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Fundamental understanding of industrial electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with energy sources for various utility equipment in assigned areas (electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.). PLC experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to maintain essential plant utilities (lighting, water systems, drainage systems, etc.).
  • Capability to work independently when required.
  • Basic knowledge of schematics and blueprints.
  • Understanding of diagnostic tools including ohm meters, voltage meters, etc. Familiarity with power tools such as cut-off saws, demo-saws, drills, etc.
  • Comprehensive understanding of OSHA regulations and company policies related to maintenance (Lock Out Tag Out, Personal Protective Equipment, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations, and data entry procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
