Job Overview


The Equipment Maintenance Technician is tasked with executing fundamental preventative upkeep on machinery, tools, and equipment, while also providing support to fellow team members in the Maintenance Department with various repair tasks related to machinery and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts routine preventative maintenance on all machinery, tools, equipment, and facilities
  • Assists in the repair of woodworking machinery, infeed/outfeed systems, hand tools, and forklifts, adhering to schematics, operational manuals, and manufacturer guidelines
  • Procures necessary supplies and components as needed
  • Implements scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
  • Keeps detailed records of maintenance and repair activities
  • Follows established safety protocols and procedures
  • Ensures a tidy and organized workspace
  • Engages in safety, continuous improvement, and other relevant programs and meetings
  • Generates various reports as required
  • Performs additional tasks as necessary
