This individual will collaborate closely with Business Development, Estimating, and Business Line Management to spearhead effective proposal and pursuit initiatives across North America.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead intricate proposals with general oversight, working alongside technical teams to draft, review, and refine original content for clarity and compliance.
  • Collaborate with individual pursuit teams to formulate strategic approaches, providing valuable insights into clients and competitors.
  • Organize and facilitate pursuit strategy meetings to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Guide and support interview preparation and presentation development for shortlist interviews.
  • Conduct debriefing sessions following procurement processes to enhance future proposals.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of quality assurance procedures, ensuring compliance with departmental standards.
  • Oversee the quality of deliverables, ensuring adherence to company protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, or a related discipline is essential.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in proposal preparation and management within the construction, engineering, or architecture sectors is required.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and professional manner.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, fostering positive interactions with staff at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in business writing, technical editing, proofreading, and document formatting.
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • A demonstrated commitment to excellence in work output.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently and concurrently under various directives.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary within the United States and Canada.
  • Flexibility to work the hours required to meet proposal deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other relevant software.
  • Must possess over 5 years of experience and a high level of proficiency with Adobe InDesign.
