About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plasma Center Technician to join our team at BioLife in Tyler, TX. As a Plasma Center Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of plasma donations, while providing exceptional customer service to our donors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results
  • Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation
  • Answer phones, greet and focus on our donors, while ensuring the safety of donors and our team
  • Help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company-approved procedures
  • Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs.
  • 1 or more years of experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful
