Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspection activities aligned with predefined quality protocols, engineering standards, and procedural guidelines to ensure that products fulfill specified criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize measuring tools, including tape measures, to accurately assess product dimensions.
  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and assemblies to verify compliance.
  • Document inspection results electronically to maintain a clear record of product evaluations, whether accepted or rejected.
  • Manage nonconforming products in accordance with established quality control procedures.
  • Interpret engineering blueprints and customer specifications with precision.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to ensure adherence to engineering requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented with experience in inspecting mechanical, electrical, and structural assemblies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact respectfully with colleagues, customers, and management.
  • Experience with pneumatic pressure or leak testing is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED is required, along with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with calibration of inspection and testing equipment is mandatory.
  • Experience in an ISO 9001 environment is a plus.

Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for this role, along with the ability to work on-site and overtime as needed.
