Job Overview

Abundant Solutions is seeking a skilled MIG/Flux Welder to join our team in Port of Catoosa. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality welds and meeting production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute welding procedures to meet quality and production standards.
  • Inspect finished products for completeness and conformance to quality assurance procedures.
  • Safely operate advanced welding equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Participate in improvement planning to increase safety, efficiency, and quality.

Requirements:

  • Obtain weld certification to AWS/ANSI standards.
  • Pass a 3G MIG/FLUXCORE weld test.
  • Basic math skills and understanding of volts and amps.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic data entry skills for maintenance breakdown calls.
  • Capability to read and interpret blueprints, work order instructions, and weld symbols.
  • Good problem-solving skills, safety practices, and attention to quality.
  • Ability to handle small parts and troubleshoot issues.
  • Able to consistently maintain production averages at or above expected standards.
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with all departments.
  • Must be able to handle physical, repetitive work and stand on feet for 10 hours a day.
