Senior Technology Systems Designer Job Description:

We're seeking a technical leader to join our Building Technologies department in Minneapolis. This role requires experience in designing integrated systems and data within intelligent buildings. The successful candidate will have expertise in general building technologies, including multiple systems such as wired and wireless voice and data networks, audiovisual systems, security systems, real-time locating systems, and building management/automation systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop current and future technology solutions for client organizations
  2. Lead meetings with client leadership and stakeholders to discuss project and technology-related goals, concepts, budgets, and design details
  3. Communicate technology concepts to technical and non-technical clients

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other applicable design and engineering fields
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in designing low-voltage systems, including telecommunications infrastructure
  • BICSI RCDD Certification

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is between $75,600 and $109,900 per year, depending on work experience, education, licensure requirements, and skill level.
