Smart Building Automation Specialist

**Job Summary:**
At Energy Management Collaborative (EMC), we are seeking a highly skilled Smart Building Automation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will design and implement advanced Smart Building control solutions for Fortune 500 clients.
**Responsibilities:**
- Project Development: Work with SBC Manager, Systems Engineering, and other engineers to design and develop control systems for specific projects.
- Technical Requirements: Draft and develop technical requirements for SBC programs and projects.
- System Integration: Program BMS primary and field controllers.
- User Interface Development: Develop and program BMS user interfaces.
- Proposal Development: Help develop controls proposals with the Customer Solutions Group.
- Library Maintenance: Maintain a library of standards for national account customers.
- Protocols Integration: Perform systems integrations using various protocols.
- Compliance: Ensure technologies are integrated and technically compliant per applicable standards.
**Requirements:**
- Networking Understanding: Understanding of IT networks, systems, and protocols.
- Circuit Knowledge: Technical proficiencies in A/C electrical circuits and low voltage D/C electrical circuits and operation.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blue-prints, wiring diagrams, and device data sheets.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of Industry best practices.
- Systems Expertise: Superior knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Lighting, and Hardware Systems.
- Programming Skills: Programming proficiency with Niagara based systems.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Hardware Troubleshooting: Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Experience in integrating computer programs.
- Excellent organization, communication, teamwork skills.
- Experience solving complicated problems.
- Self-Learning Abilities: Curiosity and self-starter when it comes to learning.
- Niagara Experience: Experience with Niagara software and computer coding languages.
- AutoCAD Skills: Experience with AutoCAD and similar programs.
- BMS Operation: LED lighting, HVAC, and building management system (BMS) operation.
**Education:**
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or another related field is required.
