Position Overview
State Bank of the Lakes is in search of a proactive and entrepreneurial Business Banker to enhance our market presence. This role focuses on serving small to mid-sized enterprises with revenues up to $30 million.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the Bank's profitability by establishing new commercial relationships through referrals and proactive outreach.
  • Manage and nurture an existing portfolio by identifying and addressing clients' business and personal financial needs.
  • Negotiate appropriate loan structures and effectively cross-sell banking products.
  • Ensure thorough documentation and manage renewals and collections on overdue and defaulted loans.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current commercial products and stay updated on relevant industry trends.
  • Achieve annual targets related to loan and deposit volumes, cross-sales, call planning, and fee income generation.
  • Collaborate closely with credit analysts to ensure high-quality credit sheet content and timely completion.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial underwriting or credit analysis.
  • At least 7 years of experience in commercial banking with a focus on relationship management.
  • Strong familiarity with the local market.
