Job Summary:

Cone Health is seeking a skilled Practice Administrator I to manage the overall health and functions of 1-4 practices or 8-25 providers in the same region and specialty group. The ideal candidate will ensure site leadership is in place and that the Practice is executing at target or stretch performance for a majority of true north and financial metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize provider templates to ensure maximum access availability and volumes.
  • Resolve barriers to provider productivity and enhance patient-facing time to improve patient satisfaction and practice revenue.
  • Maintain benchmark staffing levels and foster team engagement.
  • Empower teams to address daily issues and barriers, collaborating with the Director to recruit providers and resolve provider-related issues.
  • Engage with the Director and providers on provider contracts, demonstrating a deep understanding of Resource-Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS) and its impact on reimbursement and compensation.
  • Enforce adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements within the business units.
  • Manage TNM outcomes for each business unit, establishing process metrics in collaboration with site leaders to measure daily TNM progress.
  • Drive the achievement of financial targets within the business units, regularly analyzing financial data and implementing corrective actions for variances.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in business, finance, or a healthcare-related field.
  • 3 years of experience in medical practice, with 2 years in a practice supervisory role.
  • CMPE certification obtained within 1 year of hire.
