Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our team at Strategic Interventions Inc, providing high-quality care and management of psychiatric and behavioral health patients. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing nursing assistance and services per the Board of Nursing guidelines, monitoring psychiatric symptoms, screening for medical issues, and coordinating with medical providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical care and documentation of care, treatment, medication, and patient teaching in accordance with Nursing Standards.
  • Monitor psychiatric symptoms and screen for medical issues.
  • Coordinate with medical providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Perform on-call crisis rotation as needed.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Nursing and licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of North Carolina by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • A minimum of one year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in either inpatient or outpatient settings.
  • Experience with adults with mental illness is preferred.
